Two Goats and a Donkey!

Hello All!

I apologize for the 5 month hiatus in doing this! Things as usual got in the way, and probably will for another little while. I just wanted to get something out today, and I figured since I've been playing Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Remastered), that I may as well make a post about that! I've loved Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for the past 11 years, and have played on and off again intermittantly because, honestly, it's the only video game I've ever found that fits whatever it is that I've been looking for in a game. Blizzard's World of Warcraft was my perfect game for many years since I first played it in 2004, but it has changed so much over the years that it's no longer any fun at all. Curt introduced me to Skyrim in 2004, and I couldn't conceive of a better game at the time. After playing Skyrim for so long, I decided to give its predecessor, Oblivion, a try. I hated it! This was before it was remastered. The graphics were terrible, so bad in fact that I didn't really even give it much of a try at all. So when Bethesda came out with the remastered version of Oblivion, and I saw screenshots of the improved graphics, I decided to give it another try. That was about 2-3 months ago. And oh boy! I've fallen in love with Oblivion! My first character was a warrior, and I played him up until around level 13, when I got bored with him. Not with the game, just with that character. His name was Geolf. So I decided to create another character, this one named Flindaran (my usual name for characters, and even the name of xBox profile, and he became a mage. I leveled all of his mage skills up to 100 (max), and he was a bad ass! His list of accomplishments was so impressive, even to myself! He became the Arch-Mage of the Mage's Guild, the Master of the Fighter's Guild, the Divine Crusader of the Knights of the Nine, the Grand Champion of the Arena, the Madgod Sheogorath (one of the Daedric Princes), the Champion of Cyrodiil, and several other ranks and levels. However, I wanted to do the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood (assassins) quest lines, but Flindaran was a good character who had absolutely no infamy (pretty much how it sounds - the evil side of fame) while his Fame was 143 points (I don't know the maximum, but that was after doing all those famous things I mentioned earlier. So...

...I then created Verily, an ironic name for a character destined to become a thief and an assassin ("verily" means "truly", coming from the Latin root word "veritas", which means "truth"). Verily has proceeded to become the Gray Fox (the guildmaster for the Thieves Guild) and the Listener for the Dark Brotherhood (basically the guildmaster for that organization as well). With these three characters, I have completed 59 of the 60 achievements available in the game. The only achievement left is to become Duke of Dementia (Flindaran became Duke of Mania before ascending to the role of Madgod), which means I have to enter Sheogorath's realm again to take the title of Duke from the current Duchess of Dementia. It wasn't my intention to do that again, because I thought the achievement was for gaining either Duke title, but evidently each title holds a different achievement - and I've come too far not to grab that last achievement! I certainly got all the achievements in Skyrim, no way I won't do that for Oblivion! I'm also thinking I may let Verily become a vampire, or I may create another character for that! I've heard it's terrible in Oblivion (not that it was any cakewalk in Skyrim), so I want the experience of it, I just don't know that I want it to happen to Verily. BTW, in case you're wondering, I gave him the huge honker of a nose as a flaw, just so he wouldn't be quite so sexy lol.

I know y'all are wanting to see the Male Eye Candy for today - it's been 5 months after all! And below are 13 images of Verily doing a striptease, along with several other images from the game, including Lucien, who recruited Verily into the Dark Brotherhood, Jorundr the prisoner who was part of a money-gathering quest involving a thieving couple that want each other dead - I killed the girl, spared the guy, and got 40 gold out of it 🙄. Oh well, it could have been worse! Also there's a picture that I thought was hilarious - a ruined fort in the game known as "Fort Nomore". Had me rolling!

Anyway, enjoy! I'll post again sometime, just don't know when! Love you all!

George
