Happy New Year! First things first! How about this very iconic-looking horror scene at Krispy Kreme with myself and Ian stalking me? Hehe, how very awesome that picture turned out to be! Whew, ok, well we're now 8 days into the new year, and it's C O L D this week! My apologies for letting 2 months pass since my last post. I've been dealing with some things and feeling rather lost for a while now, but I'm finally getting my shit together and am relearning how to be me. One thing that kept me away was also Cooper not putting up with my being in a different room while I worked on this blog. And he couldn't come in with me because too many things for him to get into, so I'd have to keep an eye on him and couldn't pay attention to what I was doing here. Today I solved that issue by moving my computer desk into the living room from the bedroom. So he gets to play where he's familiar, and I get to work on this without having to keep an eye on him at all times. Only once in a while to make sure he's not into something (like chewing up remote controls or my glasses. Again.).

So, I'm sorta doing the "New Year, New Me" thing, and will be making some positive changes in my life. The main thing is that I plan to actually start enjoying life again. Most of last year...and hell, if we're being honest, the year before...I was so ready to leave this plane of existence and move on to the afterlife. Very few things were bringing me joy, and they got fewer and fewer until almost nothing did. I stopped collecting Hot Wheels, I sold or gave to Ian all the Ken dolls I had started collecting, I sold off portions of my coin collection, I lost ALL interest in my plants (with 2 exceptions - the Peace Lily Steve gave me for my birthday and the living stones succulent out on my porch), and several other things. But I'm trying to get my joy back. I've started having interest in Hot Wheels again, and have even purchased several of them. Now, when I say "Hot Wheels", I mean Matchbox cars as well. Hot Wheels is just the bigger buzzword I guess lol.

Anyway, I won't bore you too much on this first-post-in-forever, so I'll give you the link to the Eye Candy, and then discuss the pics below. So the first 4 images below are from the Facebook/Meta AI program. Considering how prudish it can be, I was pleasantly surprised by these results. The next 13 images are from the Convention Center park back in November, followed by 7 images of Steve, myself, and Ian at McDonald's for breakfast, probably the morning after the park. Next are 6 pics of Cooper being Cooper, then 3 images of my Christmas tree plus a pic from the web of how I'd like this year's Christmas tree to look. I had to throw out the one I used last month due to Cooper chewing some wires and creating a dangerous short in the tree. Next are some more recent images of Cooper, Ian, Steve, and myself. The next 5 pictures are what Cooper did to my glasses this past weekend! It's a struggle seeing through them right now, but I am getting more used to it and my eyes are starting to ignore all the toothmarks in the lenses. Oy vey! I was able to order some new glasses today from that cheap online store, and they should be here in about a week or 2.

Next pic is where I moved the computer desk in the living room. Since that pic, I've added things to the upper shelves, but not a lot just yet. Next are 2 water pitchers that Steve got me for Christmas. Of course they are EAPG. The first is a pattern called Medallion, aka Hearts and Spades, in a beautiful shade of amber. Next is a water pitcher in the Gridley pattern. Gridley was created in honor of Admiral Dewey Gridley, to celebrate his win of a battle in the Spanish American War. Unfortunately, it turns out the one Steve gave me is a reproduction, but I love it anyway, and I also found the original on eBay and have it as well. The reproduction is the amber, the original is the clear. The last water pitcher, also clear, is one I found in Columbia when we went Saturday. It's from 1909, made by Heisey Glass, and at one time was worth a couple hundred dollars. I got it for $18 at the flea market. It's sad, in one way, how the value of EAPG glassware has dropped, but in another, it's good, since I couldn't have afforded it at the old price. The last 4 images are ones I created of Cooper, and then Steve and Ian, inside snowglobes that are held by the Grinch. I may or may not have watched Red One just before creating these lol.

Ok, that's it for now. I love you all and hope you all have a great day/night/week etc. Remember my favorite Bible verse, Let all that you do be done with Love.
