Two Goats and a Donkey!

Happy Sunday! Another wonderful weekend in the books! I was able to leave work on time Friday night, so I came home for a bit and did a few things before Steve and Ian arrived. When they walked in, Cooper was doubly excited to see them! He does love his extended family on the weekends! I'm sure he gets tired of dealing with just me during the week haha. I know I would! Anyway, we went to Dairy Queen and had a great time eating, being with each other, and scoping out the guys that came and went.

Saturday we went to have breakfast at McDonald's, and boy, did we have issues! After we ordered, we sat and waited and waited for our food, but it never came. Steve went up to check on it, and after asking several times, they grabbed the bag (it was for there, so shouldn't have been a bag anyway) that had been sitting out for who knows how long, and very slowly got the drink order together. The food was cold by the time we were able to start eating it, but we made the best of it and moved on. We didn't really have any plans, but then we remembered about the Street Fair at the Lucky Rabbit set for Saturday (it's the first Saturday of each month), so we went to that. And man oh man, did we have a great time! They have the new Beetlejuice exhibit set up, and it was so cool and spooky! There are plenty of pictures below, not only of that exhibit, but of other areas of the Lucky Rabbit. Afterwards, we had lunch at the Chicken Salad Chick, across from USM, which I've been wanting to try for a couple years now. Not a great impression, as their computers went down after we placed our order and Steve was trying to pay. That took a while, then when that got cleared up, we sat and waited for our food as several people that ordered after us got their meals. It was like history repeating itself from the McDonald's breakfast! Finally Steve went up to check on it and it had been sitting out for who knows how long as a "pick up" order even though we'd ordered in person and it was supposed to be for there. Again, just like at McDonald's. And the food was ok. Probably would have been better fresh instead of sitting out. So I don't know that we'll return any time soon to there.

After lunch, we went home for a bit, then headed over to Spirit Halloween, which was just as much fun as when I went by myself last week! There were several hot guys in there this time though, including one who was dressed up like a cowboy, acted like he was tripping on some drug, and seemed to be cruising us. He was definitely cute but scary lol. There were two college age guys in there as well, both very fit and sexy, and they were fun to watch for a while too. Surprisingly, none of us bought anything there. Then we went to the strip mall down from Turtle Creek Mall. Ian went into Ross, while Steve and I went into Old Navy, then the three of us went to Target. After Target, we went to At Home, where I took a few pics of some cool items. By now, it was time to eat, and we went to Olive Garden, then we went to Walmart before heading to Home Goods, and then from there, we headed home.

Today, we had breakfast at Burger King (we had coupons!), and then we went to TJ Maxx. We all got a few things there, and by the time we left, it was lunch time! Seems like all we do is eat on the weekends! Anyway, our lunch was at Mugshots, where Ian got a salad, Steve got the Cliff's Comeback Burger, and I got the Savell Burger. We ate outside, and I guess because we were outside, we sat there for quite a bit waiting for someone to come take our order. Finally a waitress happened outside, and Steve latched on to her, so she took our order. She said that when people are seated outside, the person that does it is supposed to let the staff know someone is out there so they can come out, but I guess the purple haired girl that seated us didn't think to let anyone know. But it all was fine in the end.

We went home after that, and Steve and Ian departed before too long. Once they left, Cooper and I sat on the floor together and played for a bit, until weariness overtook us both and we got up in the recliner to nap together. After the nap, I went out and mowed the lawn, front and back, and then I had some leftovers from yesterday for dinner. And now I'm typing out this entry!

Now for the pictures below. In the first 2 pictures, we see Cooper giving me a kiss before I leave for work, and then the next one is me in my new apron. The boss got us all new aprons last week while I was on my 2 day vacation. They're nice, but they're definitely taking some getting used to and some breaking in! Next are 6 pictures of Cooper, including one where he looks like a black-eyed kid (the first one). The next 12 images were taken at McDonald's, and some of them are edited. I couldn't decide which of the edited ones I liked best, so I'm just including them all! The Lucky Rabbit is the setting for the next 56 images, both inside and outside. And this includes the Beetlejuice exhibit! I'm sure you can figure out which of the pictures are of that!

Then there are 10 images from At Home, which included some really cool decorations that I may have to invest in before too long! Then there are 2 images of the sky at Walmart, along with Halloween sprinkles and a ghost cookie kit. I only took one picture at Home Goods, surprisingly, and that is of a ouija board throw that would be awesome to have! Next are 8 images of Cooper wearing his new dragon harness that I got for him at Home Goods. I wasn't sure it would fit, and it's a little big, but he'll grow into it, I'm sure! Next are three pictures from TJ Maxx this morning. I really really want that pair of cat kitchen towels, but at $7.99 for 2, I doubt I'll get them. But who knows, maybe I will lol. Those rosemary and garlic potato chips looked pretty interesting too! I should have grabbed them and given them a try! And last, but certainly not least, is a pic of Cooper sniffing my fat belly when we were sitting on the floor playing after Ian and Steve left this afternoon. And before he and I took a nap together!

As before, I separated the male model pictures onto a second page, click here to see the eye candy. Enjoy!

Ok, ladies and gents, that is where our journey for today comes to an end! I look forward to my next entry and hope everyone is safe and happy! Love y'all!
