Two Goats and a Donkey!

Happy September, all! The header picture is of Cooper and myself while taking a nap yesterday afternoon. Today is the last day of my 2 day vacation (and the last vacation days I have left for this year)! It's going by quickly, of course, but that's fine! I've spent most of the day with Cooper, who is currently in his crate while I make this blog entry. He was on my lap, but he was restless and there was no way I could do all this with a wriggling dog on me lol. Anyway, it's been a great extended weekend! I did have to work from 6-8pm Saturday (which turned into 6-8:45pm), but other than that, I spent the weekend through yesterday with Steve and Ian. Saturday we didn't do a whole lot other than shop, since I had to work that short shift that night, and then went to eat at McAllister's and Krispy Kreme after that shift, but Sunday we went to Bay St. Louis for the first time in a while. Well, I'd been a few months ago, but it'd been a couple years since Steve and I went, and it was the first time we went with Ian. I love Bay St. Louis, but I was very disappointed, as was Steve, that our favorite restaurant, the Buttercup on 2nd, was closed down. But we ate at Murky Waters BBQ, and it was pretty fantastic!

Before eating lunch, we went to the 2 main antique stores in town, the Antique Maisson, and then the Magnolia Antiques. We also visited what used to be the Antiques Emporium, but is now a gift shop type business. We were going to have lunch at the Mockingbird Cafe, but we thought they were mostly a coffee shop and that they wouldn't have much in the way of food, so Ian got a coffee there while I used the restroom. When I came out, Steve commented that the food they did have looked good when it was taken to a customer's table, but then they didn't seem to want to eat there anyway, so we then left and tried a couple of different places before settling on Murky Waters. We all had the nachos, Steve and Ian getting the pulled pork while I got the brisket. They were very good, although they gave Steve and myself, as the elder members of the throuple, indigestion. Thank God for the Tums I keep in the van!

After leaving Bay St. Louis, we stopped along the beach in Pass Christian, where Ian did some photoshoots with a couple of his dolls. We collected shells and stood in the surf for a bit, then we headed on to Gulfport and eventually home. After getting home, we looked after Cooper, then went to eat at Wendy's, as we weren't terribly hungry after Murky Waters. Then, we came home and relaxed for a bit. Monday morning, we went to have breakfast at McDonald's, then Steve and Ian headed home after getting the truck loaded up. I then went to town. I went to Ollie's first, to get Cooper some puppy pads, then on to Spirit Halloween, had lunch in the Food Court at the Mall since Spirit Halloween is in the old Sears storefront there, and then went to Home Goods, where I got 2 halters for Cooper, both of which will not fit him because, although sold as dog halters, they are actually cat halters. I decided I needed a lamp for my nightstand, since the one I had there is very difficult to turn on and off, but the ones at Home Goods were too pricey. I headed to Home Depot, but decided on Walmart instead, since I could also get some groceries while there. I found a very basic lamp for $20, which also has a USB port on it, and it now graces the nightstand.

Pictures! Cooper is the main focus of the first 6 pictures below, then one of the pumpkin spice donuts we got Saturday night when we went to Krispy Kreme. Then there's a pic of the 2 hand soaps I got from our visit Saturday to TJ Maxx, where I also got a new blanket for my bed. Next are more pics of Cooper, plus a couple pics of Ian and myself. I must say, that has to be one of the gayest pictures I've ever seen of myself! Haha, anyway, then there are some pics from the antique stores in Bay St. Louis, then a pic of the restroom door at the Mockingbird Cafe. And then pics of us at the shore. The next 2 are of Ian and Steve at the Dizzy Dean rest area in Wiggins. Several more pics of Cooper, along with a very sexy pic of Ian in the shower, followed by a pic of Ian after Steve had written on his back with washable markers. Then there are pics from McDonald's yesterday morning, and Ian and Cooper outside before he and Steve left. Then there are pics of the Creepin' It Real shirt I bought at Spirit Halloween, along with pics of the zombie baby decorations they have. I was so tempted, but couldn't afford, to buy one of those furry masks just to see what Cooper would make of it lol.

Next we have a pic of the skylight at the Food Court in the Mall, and a couple Halloween images from Home Goods. And that's it!

As before, I separated the male model pictures onto a second page, click here to see the eye candy. Enjoy!

Well, time to say goodbye! I hope September is treating everyone with respect and love, and that each of you treats one another the same way!
