On The 27th Day of HalloweenSunday, October 27, 2024 On the twenty-seventh day of Halloween, my true love gave to me 27 fairies a'circlin', 26 demon doxies, 25 vampires rising at dusk, 24 will-o-whisps a'flittin', 23 graveyard plots, 22 rings of smoke, 21 chupacabras, 20 black cats, 19 jack-o-lanterns a'burnin', 18 shrines of lies, 17 skulls a'flamin', 16 Wednesday Addams a'dancin', 15 bonfires a'burnin', 14 shirtless sorcerers casting, 13 phantoms floating, 12 eyeballs a'staring, 11 Red Eye Louie Vodquilas, 10 fireball spells whirling, 9 hellhounds snarling, 8 ghosts a hauntin', 7 witches stirring, 6 skeletons clacking, 5 crows a'murderin', 4 ghouls a'dancin', 3 spiders spinning, 2 zombies running, and a vulture in the Halloween tree! And it was suddenly Sunday and all is wrong with the world! Haha, not really, but Steve needed to leave early today, so our Sunday together was cut way short. We had breakfast at McDonald's, as usual, and today it was even cheaper. I still can't get over the bargain I stumbled upon with the Sausage McMuffin combo! For the 3 of us, it was only $12 and some change, including the 20% off deal through the app. And Ian's meal was half of that, since Steve and I both did the bargain meal. As I believe I stated the other day, the McDonald's out on Hwy 98-W does not offer a combo at all with the cheaper sandwich, so even if you wanted to get a combo at the regular price, you can't. You'd have to add the drink and hashbrown separately.Anyway, after breakfast, we went to Walmart, where Ian found some Bratz Felicia dolls on clearance for a very low price, and he was only going to get one, but Steve and I convinced him to get more so he could customize them and sell them on eBay. He got 2 more, and I bought one for him (as an investment *wink wink*), so he took a total of 4 of them home. One he's going to keep, the others he's going to customize. Steve bought grease cleaner, and I bought some Matchbox cars (3 in a new series of 6, and 2 more that I just liked) for a total of 5. Would have been 8 if I could have found the other 3 in the series lol. Anyway, after Walmart, we went to Home Goods, which had a great clearance on their Halloween items, but I ended up leaving empty-handed, as did all three of us. Ian actually had run over to Ross and found a doll there, so his hands weren't empty, they just didn't contain anything from Home Goods lol. Anyway, then we went to eat lunch at Panda Express, came home, and then Steve and Ian left. And now I'm catching up on my blogs! I'll have to go back to town in a bit, as I need meds from the CVS in Target, and probably will get a few groceries as well. So, I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their Sunday!
