On The 26th Day of HalloweenSaturday, October 26, 2024 On the twenty-sixth day of Halloween, my true love gave to me 26 demon doxies, 25 vampires rising at dusk, 24 will-o-whisps a'flittin', 23 graveyard plots, 22 rings of smoke, 21 chupacabras, 20 black cats, 19 jack-o-lanterns a'burnin', 18 shrines of lies, 17 skulls a'flamin', 16 Wednesday Addams a'dancin', 15 bonfires a'burnin', 14 shirtless sorcerers casting, 13 phantoms floating, 12 eyeballs a'staring, 11 Red Eye Louie Vodquilas, 10 fireball spells whirling, 9 hellhounds snarling, 8 ghosts a hauntin', 7 witches stirring, 6 skeletons clacking, 5 crows a'murderin', 4 ghouls a'dancin', 3 spiders spinning, 2 zombies running, and a vulture in the Halloween tree! Happy Saturday! This is the last Saturday before Halloween, so be sure to visit all the Halloween parties tonight! I, sadly, will not be attending any because I have to work, but I'll be having dinner with my boys after I get off work at Don Chuy's Mexican Restaurant. A bit late to be having Mexican (I don't get off until 8pm, and then there are the closing procedures for after), but we enjoy it and I have plenty of Tums at home! Steve and I will probably get the Big Burrito, which is this massive, heavenly burrito that comes with ground beef and chicken, with rice, and topped with red salsa sauce and white cheese sauce. I always prefer to get the chicken in mine replaced with extra ground beef. I just believe that ground beef should be in burritos lol. Call me crazy if you must!This morning saw us having breakfast at McDonald's, then some shopping at Hobby Lobby (where none of us bought a thing) until we had to leave and grab some Krystal's for lunch on the way home, since I had to be at work by noon. I actually was going to get a couple Christmas ornaments for Cooper, but the lines were too long and we had to skedaddle for me to make it on time. Steve and Ian went to Sam's for the pickup order after I got to work, and then they spent the afternoon alternately with Cooper at home and out shopping.
