On The 22nd Day of HalloweenTuesday, October 22, 2024 On the twenty-second day of Halloween, my true love gave to me 22 rings of smoke, 21 chupacabras, 20 black cats, 19 jack-o-lanterns a'burnin', 18 shrines of lies, 17 skulls a'flamin', 16 Wednesday Addams a'dancin', 15 bonfires a'burnin', 14 shirtless sorcerers casting, 13 phantoms floating, 12 eyeballs a'staring, 11 Red Eye Louie Vodquilas, 10 fireball spells whirling, 9 hellhounds snarling, 8 ghosts a hauntin', 7 witches stirring, 6 skeletons clacking, 5 crows a'murderin', 4 ghouls a'dancin', 3 spiders spinning, 2 zombies running, and a vulture in the Halloween tree! We have survived Monday and made it to Tuesday morning! Nine days until Halloween - this month is truckin' on by! I hope everyone has been enjoying these 31 days of Halloween that I've been putting out. I'm rather proud of myself for staying on top of this and putting them together each day! Anyone who knows me also knows how difficult it is for me to keep to a project for this long!Monday seemed to fly by while I was at work. Before I knew it, 6 hours had passed by! The last 2 actually dragged a little bit from time to time, but really they went by pretty fast as well. Had an interesting conversation with one of our regulars, Mark, who just got back from Europe. He was in Germany and Sweden on business, but swung by Austria for pleasure. Man, would I love to go to Europe! It's always been on my bucket list, but I also know I'll never end up there. It's still a dream though! Since I work this Saturday, I'll be off tomorrow. One thing I want to do (but won't haha) is sleep late. I just don't see that in the cards for me at all! But maybe I can at least have a nap tomorrow. This morning, my alarm went off seemingly just minutes after I went to bed! It'd be nice to take a nap now (at 7am haha!), but there's no way I can take the time to do that! Oh well, I can sleep when I'm dead, right? Hehe!
