On The 19th Day of HalloweenSaturday, October 19, 2024 On the nineteenth day of Halloween, my true love gave to me 19 jack-o-lanterns a'burnin', 18 shrines of lies, 17 skulls a'flamin', 16 Wednesday Addams a'dancin', 15 bonfires a'burnin', 14 shirtless sorcerers casting, 13 phantoms floating, 12 eyeballs a'staring, 11 Red Eye Louie Vodquilas, 10 fireball spells whirling, 9 hellhounds snarling, 8 ghosts a hauntin', 7 witches stirring, 6 skeletons clacking, 5 crows a'murderin', 4 ghouls a'dancin', 3 spiders spinning, 2 zombies running, and a vulture in the Halloween tree! It's Saturday! A day of excitement, exultation, and emergent energies as the weekend gets started! I was off work today and spent the day with my guys. We did the usual stuff, breakfast, shopping, and had dinner with Blaise, Shane, and Cathy at Benson's Steak House.After dinner, we stopped at Ross and Home Goods, then went on home. On the way, we were on Jackson Road and came to the curve where a couple houses and a trailer are, and where dogs used to be a problem out in the road on that bad curve. However, the dogs are gone (presumably all killed by cars), so it's not a problem any longer. However, as we approached the curve, we could see some sort of canine-like creature standing on the side of the road. It was on all fours, about 4 feet tall, and blackish-brown with strange fur and a face blacker than night with pitch-black eyes staring at us. Ian didn't really see it, I don't think, but both Steve and I did, and we were both like, "What the hell was that?" We discussed different things of what it looked like, what we thought it could have been, and Steve suggested I just turn around so we could go back and look again. After a few false tries, we finally got turned around, but it was gone by the time we got back there. What in the world could it have been? We finally just headed home and got settled in for the night, still pondering what on earth that thing was. Anyway, I hope everyone has had a wonderful Saturday so far! Oh, and here ya go, the Eye Candy you've been looking for!
