Two Goats and a Donkey!

Monday, November 27, 2023

Hello everyone! I'm still alive lol. Today I feel a couple ticks up from "death", so I think I'm on the mend. I'll be glad when I can breathe through both nostrils again! This morning I felt well enough to run to town and get a small, live Christmas tree. Last weekend, Steve and I had seen one I really liked, and I thought that was at Lowe's. So that's where I went this morning, but alas, the tree I wanted is at Home Depot, not Lowe's, and since I was also doing the bank run for the store, I didn't have time to go over there as well. So I thought I'd stop at Target and just get a small artificial tree. I have an artificial one out in the storage shed, but it's so big, and I'm just not feeling a big tree this year. Certainly not while still sick! Well, Target didn't have any small enough that I liked either, so I guess I'll just run over to Home Depot one of these mornings, or maybe this coming weekend, to get one.

Steve arrived back in the state on Saturday. I'm so glad he's back in Mississippi! I hate when he's out of state. It's bad enough he lives in another city, but at least he's not that far away compared to Arkansas! I'm looking forward to seeing him this weekend. We have a Christmas party to attend Saturday afternoon, which will be fun! Ian is also back in the state, he returned from Texas yesterday. He's come to mean a good deal to me, so I'm glad he's back safely too!

And as I'm still not feeling good, this will be a quicky as well. The first three images are of Max, my dog, curled up in front of the electric heater, then one of my plants sitting atop that electric heater, and then two pictures of the Golden Girls that were done by an artist on Etsy and that I had framed by my friend, Jimmy. The rest of the images below are a model spotlight of Chase Ketron, by various photographers. Unfortunately, Chase doesn't model any longer, but he does still have an Instagram page, found here. Enjoy!
