Two Goats and a Donkey!

Sunday, May 9, 2021

I do apologize, gentle reader, for just up and vanishing like I did! I've been so sick the last few weeks that I didn't even feel like working on my blog, which I'd come to love. I'm still not feeling the best, but maybe I'm on the upswing? I certainly hope so. I'm so sick and tired of being sick and tired! Anyway, the last few weeks have been more or less a blur. I just haven't felt up to doing much of anything usually, so lots of things have suffered. My yard had suffered, my house had suffered, work has definitely suffered. My main problems seem to be nausea, severe indigestion (to the point I've had acid reflux even while being upright), and a general lack of energy. I only recently was able to muster up the ambition to mow my yard, although not all of it, but it looks so much better even so.

I really hate that I just sort of fell off the face of the earth just when I think I was starting to get a small following on my blog. This is the first entry since April 21, and it feels good working on it again. I've only included a few pictures again; the first row below is of me, the first 2 being a visit to my GI clinic when I was waiting for the nurse practitioner to come in, and the third is actually from this afternoon. The second row of pictures is of the fur and feather babies. In the first picture on that row is of the hens when I put up some barricades to allow them to come out of their coop. The second picture is of Max and Maggie enjoying the afternoon sun when I let them go out in the backyard one day last week. And the last picture is of Max laying on the sofa in one of his weird ways, with his front legs stretched out straight in front of him.

I promise, gentle reader, to try and post every day again. I'm still not feeling great, but I think I am feeling better than I was, so hopefully I won't be such a stranger and hopefully will be able to get back into the swing of all this. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

George
