Two Goats and a Donkey!

Thursday, July 11, 2024

Hey gang! Just a quick update here. I know, I know, 2 entries in a single week! Haha, wish I could keep up that kind of energy! We'll see! So yesterday, I went to have lunch at Steve's restaurant, Billy Burgers, since it's up for sale and who knows how long it'll still be around? Afterwards, I went to the flea market/antique store between Star and Florence, where I found a few things.

In between, though, I stopped at Steve's house to look at his garden. It's so beautiful and so well cared for! Makes my humble little yard look like a shambles lol. Of course, GIGO, right? You get out of it what you put into it, and I just don't spend much time at all working in my yard anymore. On my way back home, I decided to stop at the antique shop in Collins. I debated because I knew I wouldn't get there until almost 4:30 and they close at 5:00, but I figured I could do it without inconveniencing anyone. And lo and behold, I found the perfect additional gift for Steve for his birthday! It turns out to be a very rare item, and unfortunately I can't say more just yet because today might be the day he actually reads my blog lol. I'll update next time!

So the first 2 pictures below are where I had a bonfire to get rid of most of the brush that was sitting around out in my backyard. Some brush didn't burn, but that just means another bonfire! And I'll have some to toss on since I still have piles of brush from where I cut on Monday. The next 2 pics are of my upside down catfish in my aquarium. He likes to hide, so it's not that often I get to see him lol. The next 47 pics are of Steve's garden. So beautiful! Following that is a pic of a bench I bought at Florence for Maggie's food. I want to get her food off the floor so Cooper can't get into it, but not so high that she has trouble jumping up. Need to decide what color to paint it! And then there's a delicate German bowl, roughly 100-120 years old, that I picked up for $4! And then a little photoshoot of my Ken doll taking a bubble bath lol.

As before, I separated the male model pictures onto a second page, click here to see the eye candy. Enjoy!

I'm excited that I'll be picking Ian up from Florence today after I visit my sister. I think he's excited too! Ok, enough for now, gotta be getting ready to head out. I hope everyone has a fantastic day and weekend! I'm sad that my vacation is almost over, but I'm glad I got to enjoy it! Love y'all!
