Two Goats and a Donkey!Wednesday, January 31, 2024 Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't been active, I've just been so damned depressed since having Max put to sleep. I feel like a huge chunk of myself died with him. But that's neither here nor there, I'm here to recap the past several days.Ian and Steve came down Friday night, and they were such a comfort to me, surrounding me with their love. It helped after going through so much last week, and I do love them so very much. Unfortunately, I had to work Saturday, so we didn't spend nearly as much time together as I needed, or as we all wanted. But, it was fine. I got a few new Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars, and I put together some acrylic display shelves, with Steve's help, to put a few on. So let's just jump to the photo show below. We start off with a picture of Maggie on my lap in the living room, her favorite place to be (my lap, not the living room). Next is a picture of Max's bandana, that when I ran across it caused me to have a little breakdown for about 10 minutes. Then we begin the weekend pics, with Ian and Steve cuddling on the bed, then a couple of pics of 2 of Ian's dolls sitting on my dashboard when we went to Ward's for breakfast Saturday morning. Then a pic of me at work Saturday afternoon, followed by some pics of Ian, Steve, and one of his dolls at Zaxby's for lunch Sunday. Sunday evening I made a ground beef/rice concoction with Rotel tomatoes and taco seasoning, which was my meal for the next 2 days. On Saturday, I had brough home a shelf that my boss was going to toss out, which I figure I can use in some way to display my cars on. This pic is from Sunday night, when Maggie decided she wanted to try out the shelf herself. Then, earlier Sunday I had mentioned to Steve and Ian that I wanted to find a Matchbox Jeep Renegade, since that's currently my dream car. After they left Sunday, I ran to town, and lo and behold, I found one! Next are pics of the acrylic display shelves and the cars I've put on them so far. Then a little mini photoshoot of my Jeep Renegade, out of the box, and on a little diorama I'd gotten Sunday. And then last, but certainly not least, are some pics from a photoshoot Maggie and I did yesterday morning. Ok, I know it's short, but honestly it's all I have the energy for at the moment. Much love to all! George |
