Two Goats and a Donkey!

Happy Friday, y'all! Lovely header image, isn't it? lol Cooper has a perfect little patch on his rear, around his butthole, so I figured I'd immortalize his ass! Plus it's a perfect image for how life has been all of yesterday and early this morning! Yesterday was such a humdinger of a day! I hit my knee hard against the 75 gallon aquarium stand, and thought I had shattered, or at least fractured, my patella. It split the skin, and the pain was so bad for a good 10 minutes. Poor Cooper thought he was in trouble from all of my bellowing about the situation! I was unable to walk on or bend the knee for a bit, but it got better. I still have to be careful kneeling, as that definitely still hurts, but with Cooper's crate needing to be cleaned so often, I don't have much choice there!

I also, the day before, had noted that my van's battery was weak. Wednesday night, my van barely cranked when I was leaving work, and I was leery of it starting yesterday morning, but it did...just barely. I had planned just to go across the highway to Napa or Autozone, whichever one it is that's over there, but Steve convinced me to try Sam's. So with a hope and a prayer, I set off for Sam's, which is where I needed to go anyway to pick up his order, and parked around on the side by automotive. I left the van running while I went inside, and good thing I did, because while they had a battery that I was about to pay for, they did not have anyone else on staff at the time for the guy to install my battery. I didn't have any tools, so I was unable to install it myself, so I went on to Autozone, just up the highway from Sam's, and went ahead and turned off the van, in anticipation that they would have a battery and could install it. They did have a battery, which cost $100 more than the one at Sam's, and Steve and I decided we'd put it on his card, and I'd pay him back for it. Well, three times we tried, and the card would not authorize. Finally we tried another of Steve's cards, and it finally worked. Got the battery installed, then went to Sam's for the pickup, to Target for my new blood pressure meds, and got home almost 2 hours after I'd left.

When I was about to get ready for work, Cooper had peed on the carpet, so instead of taking him into the bathroom with me like I've been doing to alleviate his anxiety, I left him in his crate. And of course when I got out of the shower, he'd had diarrhea all over himself and the crate - that's from his anxiety when I'm getting ready for work, because he knows I'm about to leave him - and had to clean that up! So once I did, I set out, got to work - and realized I'd forgotten my phone at home. I was planning on just leaving it home and getting through my shift without it, but my boss told me to go ahead and go get it. While at work, I had decided to get some ground sirloin from Coyote Point, a meat company next door to us. I'd put it in the refrigerator at work with every intention of getting it out before I left. Well, I forgot it until I pulled up into the yard, so then I had to go all the way back to work and get it. It was 9:00 before I finally got home for the night.

This morning, at around 4:30, I awoke to terrible leg cramps in BOTH of my thighs! I got up, but couldn't get over the Cooper barricade that blocks the living room from the kitchen, so I had to pace for 25 minutes in Steve's room. By the time I was able to go back to bed, it was already 4:55, and my alarm would be going off in 35 minutes, so no point in laying back down. When Steve and I discussed it in text, he suggested that maybe if I started sleeping in my own bed again, instead of on the sofa, I might not have leg cramps as often. So, I'm giving that a shot tonight. I moved my cpap into the bedroom and will see how it goes tonight!

No eye candy page today, as I really only had time for a quick entry!

Pics below include a picture of my knee after hitting it on the aquarium stand, and then an image of the sky when I got to work the second time yesterday. It did come a flood from all those clouds! The rest are all Cooper pics, except for the last which is a quote from Dan Levy's mom about him as a boy (Dan Levy played David Rose on Schitt$ Creek).

Ok, I think that is all for today! Looking forward to a wonderful long Labor Day weekend with Ian and Steve, even though I have to work for 2 hours tomorrow night (6-8pm), but it'll go quickly! Lots of love to you all!
