Two Goats and a Donkey! Friday, August 2, 2024 Good day and happy August to you! I can't believe it's August 2nd already! Where does the time go? I swear, the older I get, the faster time races! I can remember as a kid thinking 20 minutes was an ETERNITY, and even as a young adult, it seemed like time was much slower. I can remember playing video games for what seemed like hours, when actually only 30 minutes had passed. Now I play video games for what seems like 30 minutes, when actually hours have pased. Aging is a bitch! 1/10, do not recommend! lolCooper has grown so much over the month and a half that I've had him. And it feels like I've had him so much longer than that! He's so much a part of me now and I can't even imagine life without that little feller. His personality is developing too, and he gets so deflated whenever I discipline him lol. He's almost like "Oh daddy, what did I do?" with those sad puppy eyes. Can't stay mad at him, even when he destroys something lol. I'm just a big ol' softy at heart. Wednesday was my day off this week (last time I'll have a day off until Saturday, August 24th, if you don't count Sundays when we're closed), and I went to get a pedicure for the very first time. My toenails had gotten so bad and I was unable to cut them because of the thickness of the nails. At first I thought maybe I'd need a medical pedicure and would need to go to a podiatrist, but I decided to give a nail salon a try first. I chose one in the middle of Turtle Creek Mall, discussed with them my problems, they assured me it would be no problem at all for them to take care of it, and they were right! It took a while, but they were very thorough, and it wasn't just my toenails they did but my feet and shins/calves as well. It was a very enjoyable experience that I will definitely repeat when I can afford it again! Afterwards, I went into Spencer's Gifts, and oh my, one of the pics below will outline just what I saw there! The pictures below are mostly of Cooper, of course lol. The first 11 are pics of him alone and with me. He's such a loveable goofball! I included a picture of some of my Kens goofing around. Didn't really create a cool photoshoot area, since you can see a lot of mundane stuff in the image, but I thought it was cute nonethless. Next are 2 pics of Maggie. In the first one, I was using the bathroom and she was trying to entice me to pet her by exposing her belly to me haha. It worked, she got the attention she was after! Then there's just a pic of little ol' me, trying to look cheerful this morning! And then the image I mentioned above. This was at Spencer's Gifts, and there were many more than this, these are just the ones I fit in the frame to take a picture of. There are some strange things out there! Most of these are dildos, but there are a couple that appear to be more in the line of "pocket pussies" lol. Next is where I've extended my Hot Wheels display to include space above my closet. You can also see a few Kens hanging out in the closet! And finally, a page from my daily Dungeons and Dragons calendar, for today.
