Two Goats and a Donkey! Monday, April 22, 2024 As Mrs. Doubtfire says above, Hellooooooo! It's been a minute! I think writing that huge entry last time took something out of me, so here we are, more than 3 weeks later, finally putting out an April blog entry! I hope this Monday finds everyone in good spirits to get through their week! Mine will be chopped up into two pieces, since I am working Saturday and therefore I'm taking Wednesday off.It's been an eventful month so far! Lots of shopping with the boys, lots of eating, lots of plant (Steve and me), doll (Ian), and Hot Wheels (me) buying! I also took Maggie (my cat) to the vet the weekend before this one, as she has feline herpes and has been sick for a few months. I'd been hoping it would clear up on its own, like it normally does, but it never did, so I finally had to break down and take her. And oh man, I'm so glad I did! She's a different cat since! I had to give her prednisone (steroid) and antibiotic doses after she initially got a steroid shot, and she can breathe again! We're at the point on her steroid that she only gets them as needed, and I've nearly completed her antibiotics run. The vet (Dr. Lisa from Leaf River Veterinary Services in Taylorsville) said she may need to be on antibiotics for the rest of her life, but we'll see what happens. I may take her back for a followup Wednesday, since I'll be off. Although that may be interesting - getting Maggie into her carrier to go to the vet in the first place was a two-man job since she refused to go in and had to be finagled. In other news, I have sold my soul to the devil lol. I will be selling Hot Wheels Treasure Hunts online for a former boss. I got some cars out of the deal and will get a 10% commission for selling them. Now I just need to decide which platform to use (eBay vs. Mercari), although I may give each a shot to see the differences in each of them. Since I download at 4k, the images are huge, and to help with data connections for everyone, I divided the first 60 into 5 pages of 12 images each. I have created nearly 500 images to date, and I'll put 60 per post from here on out. Enjoy! Ok, that's all I've got to say for today! I hope this week is fantastic for evryone, and I'll do my best not to let so much time go by again (yeah, I know, y'all have heard that before!).
